Routine operations, such as electric meter reconnects and disconnects, are completed much faster with FPL's automated Routine Work Management System.

Real-time data is transmitted to and from field technicians via hand-held computers, eliminating the time-consuming paperwork, pagers and radios previously involved in dispatching work orders. The system also provides immediate confirmation when operations are completed.

This is just one of many areas in which FPL is leveraging technology to provide better service to customers.
