Group, Inc. announces new stock transfer agent
JUNO BEACH, Fla. -FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE: FPL) today announced that
it has selected Computershare (ASX: CPU), based in Chicago, IL, to
become its new stock transfer agent, registrar and dividend disbursement
and reinvestment agent effective January 1, 2004.
“We are making this change to provide more enhanced services
to our shareholders while reducing our overall administrative costs.
We believe this change will have a positive impact on how our individual
shareholders interact with FPL Group,” said Mary Lou Kromer,

until after January 1, 2004. Shareholders may continue to contact
the company's current stock transfer agent and registrar, EquiServe,
through Wednesday, December 31, 2003, for any shareholder related
