J. Hyatt Brown

Mr. Brown is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Brown & Brown Inc., an insurance broker based in Daytona Beach and Tampa, Florida.  He is a director of SunTrust Banks, Inc., Rock-Tenn Company and International Speedway Corporation.  Mr. Brown is a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and served as Speaker of the House from 1978 to 1980.  He is a member and past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stetson University.  Mr. Brown has been a director FPL Group since 1989.
